With extensive experience in patient communications, appointment scheduling, and business operations, Erica excels at building strong relationships with patients and addressing their needs effectively. Outside of work, she enjoys expanding her knowledge through learning new things and traveling.
Business Coordinator
Prasanna is an experienced Business Coordinator for our office with a background and education in business administration. She brings a wealth of experience in ensuring smooth and efficient operations of the practice. She has a proven ability to improve efficiency and patient and team satisfaction. Key skills include financial management, negotiating with insurance payors on behalf of patients, regulatory compliance, and technology implementation. Prasanna is dedicated to open communication, a positive work environment, staff development, and providing high-quality patient care. Outside of work, Prasanna enjoys hiking, traveling, and cooking.
Front Desk Coordinator
Homar is our bilingual, multitasking Front Desk Coordinator and Dental Assistant with extensive knowledge of dental treatments. He excels at clearly explaining procedures and ensuring that every patient visit is pleasant and seamless. His ability to connect with patients and address their concerns significantly enhances their overall experience. As the Front Desk Coordinator, Homar is essential to our practice, serving as the first point of contact for patients. He manages appointments, addresses patient inquiries, and facilitates effective communication between patients and the dental team. His strong organizational skills ensure efficient office operations, while his friendly demeanor fosters a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
Dental Assistant
Hem is an exceptional and organized dental assistant dedicated to supporting Dr. Parikh during various dental procedures. She is a certified radiation technologist in the State of Maryland and an internationally trained dentist from India, with postgraduate training in health administration from the University of Maryland. With extensive experience in dental assisting since 2019 in the U.S., she plans to pursue a dental hygiene license in the future. Outside of work, Hem enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, as well as cooking, reading, and traveling.
